About me:
I have always loved everything related to arts and crafts. I remember I loved to draw animals with severe deformities, but they were happy, and made me happy as well. I decided to study Graphic Design, because I felt it was the most accurate form me, and indeed, there I discovered illustration, the most enjoyable topic for me. But it was until last semesters when I started to feel more attracted into children's illustration, so I started building my way on this same direction. At this moment, I’m focusing most of my energies in children illustration, and have mainly worked in children’s books, educative and characters.

About Casquilla: Once upon a time, in someone's imaginary world, existed a little red eared turtle whom liked to sleep upside down for hours and hours. It slept over the hats of the fungi, it slept in the hollows of the trees, slept floating in the pond, and in the shells of other turtles. And it dreamed distant dreams, from strange worlds that exist, some in the collective mind, others in the personal minds, and those dreams made it open its sorprised little mouth , and with its dribbles of turtlue dampened and fortified the fungi, watered the trees, gave life to the ponds and cleaned the shells of the other turtles. That
little animal was given the name of Casquilla because it was such a
weird creature coming from a shell and because of being eternally small. |
