Since Laura was a little girl, she used to draw,
paint, make crafts, catch bugs, among other fun activities.
She coursed the career of graphic design at Facultad
de Artes Visuales (Visual Arts Faculty) from her town university (UANL),
where she learned the basis on illustration, getting to develop in traditional as well as in digital mediums.
In 2010, she was selected to be part of the 1st and 2ndo Iberoamerican Catalogue
of Illustrators, and in 2009 was invited to expose her work at the Member's
+ International Exhibition by South Korean WDL Network.
She has illustrated for clients in different fields (editorial, didactics, magazines, stencils, embroidery,
among others), as well as from different parts of the globe.
"Poemitas de Maíz" by Roberto Aliaga (2008) and "Abecedanzas" by María José Rico (2010), published by
CEDMA are the 2 poem books illustrated by Laura.
